Writing Tutoring, Grades 9-12: One 45-Minute Virtual Session

One-on-one writing help for high schoolers, from a university English professor with 15 years in the classroom.

A single private 45-minute session on Google Meet, built around whatever your teen is writing right now: an essay due soon, a research paper, a thesis that won't come together, or a draft that needs a strong revision. A good way to try tutoring, or to get focused help on one assignment.

• Building a clear thesis and an argument that holds up
• Organizing paragraphs and using evidence well
• Research papers and citations
• Revising and self-editing, so students can improve their own drafts
• Grammar and mechanics, in context

How it works

• After purchase, you'll receive an email within one business day with a link to book your session at a time that suits you.
• When booking, tell us what your student wants help with, and email any draft or assignment ahead of time so the session starts up to speed.
• The session meets on Google Meet; the link is in your calendar invitation.
• The session can be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice and should be used within 90 days of purchase.
